A Little About Us
We are Garret and Amanda Hammer. We are a family that raises hard working AQHA (occasional APHA) horses. We pride ourselves in that our horses become level headed, thoughtful and versatile animals. Creating horses that are sound of body and mind is our priority.
Garret prefers riding in the back country, hunting on horse back and exploring places beyond the trail. Amanda loves taking pictures of everybody doing all the things and snuggling the babies.
The kids, well they are more arena bound than we are.
Our kids stay busy in the saddle these days. They are great help feeding and helping with the many things that come up in having horses.
Alyssa and Hailey have been hitting the queen trail the last couple of years with some barrel racing added in. We also started up a WHASET team for Newport, WA. They have enjoyed competing in events such as timed events, trail and team sorting.
Lane enjoys loping around and playing horse tag with his dad.
